The STARSMITH STUDIO is an independent design studio, founded by me, Natasha “Tasha” Peter (heyya!), a proud Filipino-Papua New Guinean woman with a passion for design.

For the longest time (honestly, way too long), I believed I could just go around not relying on anyone and trying to figure everything out by myself, and as time passed, I realised: that is a load of BS, and whoever romanticised "lone-wolves" should be left alone in a tiny island for a month to survive on a shellfish-only diet ☺︎. All that to say, having a healthy community is fulfilling and it shouldn't be this hard to find people to connect to.

By creating brands that cultivate community, we can not only achieve business goals but also foster a sense of belonging and purpose.

I want to build more than just brands but also experiences and opportunities. So, as your local ambivert with a limited social battery and a love for creativity, I've crafted a plan: to build a community by empowering collaboration and action, in the way I know how and am good at. A vocation was never just to create a profit, I believe it is something that came to life out of empathy and to connect with community. To hope, act, and search for healthy connection is an act of resistance.
